Job Description
J.M Ritchie Animal hospital in State College and Fishing Creek Veterinary Center in Mill Hall are seeking veterinary technicians and assistants to join our growing team! We are fully equipped at both locations with Idexx full in house labs, digital radiography, ultrasound, modern dentistry equipment, Avimark practice management software and more. These two clinics work together to serve central PA with family oriented, high quality veterinary care including medicine and a variety of surgical procedures. Individuals applying for this job will be expected to assist doctors with exams, collect samples including venipuncture and placing catheters. They should also have the ability to interact positively with pet parents at all times and keep a positive attitude under stressful situations. Both full time and part time applicants will be considered. Work is available at both locations and hours can be only at one location, or split between both clinics based on the applicants desired location. We operate 5 days a week with no after hour emergencies or weekend hours. Pay scale is commensurate with experience and abilities.
