Aptitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative, and flexible environment are preferred. All candidates must be able to clear initial and random background checks, medical, and drug screenings.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The qualified Assistant Veterinary Technician will successfully perform the following functions: Maintaining the cleanliness of the hospital Wrapping and sterilizing surgical equipment and instruments Assisting the veterinary technician to complete treatments as needed Canine and feline restraint Assist with in-house diagnostics Preparing medications Restock and maintain inventory in surgical suite Restock supplies in treatment area and clinic Maintain clinic and breakroom cleanliness Keep up with washing/drying clinic laundry Some clerical work may be required Comprehensive benefits including health, vision, and dental.
