We are looking for a licensed or unlicensed veterinary technician to join our team Our work environment includes: Modern office setting Modern office setting Relaxed atmosphere On-the-job training ```Duties```
- -Gathering medical history from clients and assisting doctors in exam rooms
- collecting blood samples from dogs and cats
- analyzing samples in blood analyzers and maintaining anaylzers
- -perform dental cleanings take dental radiographs
- -monitor patients in surgery
- -Place IV catheters, maintain pets on IV fluid pumps ```Qualifications```
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in veterinary technology preferred
- Certification as a veterinary technician (CVT) or veterinary technician specialist (VTS) is a plus
- Previous experience working as a veterinary technician or in a related field is required
- Knowledge of animal physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
- Proficient in animal restraint techniques for various species, including dogs, cats, and equine
- Familiarity with veterinary equipment and instruments, such as catheters and surgical tools
- Ability to perform basic laboratory tests and interpret results accurately
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and veterinary staff
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
