Veterinary Technician KC Animal Hospital, Scottsdale, AZ KC Animal Hospital, an independently owned and AAHA-accredited practice since 1989, is proud to provide high-quality medical care with a strong emphasis on compassion and client service. A well-established hospital with a loyal and diverse clientele, we are currently seeking an Experienced Veterinary Technician or Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) to join our dedicated team. About the
Role:
As a Veterinary Technician at KC Animal Hospital, you'll work hands-on with small animals and some exotic species , like birds, and reptiles. This is a dynamic role in a supportive environment where everyday brings new challenges and opportunities to grow.Key Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate care and communicate effectively with clients and team members Safely restrain animals for exams, treatments, and procedures Administer medications and IV fluids; perform IV injections Collect and process lab samples (blood, urine, fecal, etc.) Take and process digital radiographs Maintain a sterile surgical environment; assist with surgical procedures and instrument care Use and maintain lab equipment (familiarity with Abaxis is a plus) Navigate electronic medical records (Cornerstone experience is a plus)What We're Looking For:
At least 1-2 years of experience in a veterinary setting A positive, team-oriented attitude Strong multitasking and time-management skills CVT certification is preferred, but not required We are about supporting technician growth and education.
