• Newport Mesa Animal Hospital Costa Mesa, CA | Monday-Friday | No Weekends Newport Mesa Animal Hospital is seeking a credentialed Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team.

This is a RVT-only position — a current California RVT license is required. We are a privately owned, well-established small animal hospital serving Costa Mesa, Newport Beach, and surrounding communities since 1983. Our practice combines progressive medicine, modern equipment, and a supportive, team-first culture—without the burnout of corporate medicine.

POSITION OVERVIEW

As an RVT at NMAH, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care. You will rotate through appointments, surgery, and technician appointments, keeping your day both structured and engaging.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Patient intake, medical history collection, and TPR Anesthesia monitoring, sedation, and intubation Surgical and dental assisting (including extractions) IV catheter placement and

SQ/IM/IV

injections Digital radiology and diagnostics Laboratory sample collection and processing Client communication and education Accurate medical record documentation (Cornerstone) Pharmacy and treatment execution

REQUIREMENTS

Active California RVT license (required) Strong anesthesia and dental experience preferred Team-oriented with strong communication skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Ability to lift, restrain, and handle pets up to 50 lbs

• 6:15 PM No weekends $28
• $34/hour, depending on experience
