Our brand new hospital is a general practice and urgent care. LOVE Animal Hospital was created to make the client experience seamless, patient care the priority, and is committed to providing the most innovative and modern veterinary medicine. We are seeking a skilled Overnight Veterinary Technician to join our team and work alongside our veterinarians and board-certified specialists. This role is ideal for a dedicated, experienced veterinary technician with a keen interest in advanced diagnostics, treatments, and client education.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist in surgeries in collaboration with our veterinarians. Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and instruments for procedures. Monitor anesthesia and recover patients. Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians. Provide patient care in the ICU, specialty wards, and during emergency visits. Perform diagnostic tests, including blood work, imaging (X-rays, ultrasounds), and more. Educate clients on treatment plans, procedures, and at-home care. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure patient confidentiality. Mentor and train junior staff and veterinary technicians as needed.

Qualifications :

Graduation from an accredited veterinary technician program. Certification as a veterinary technician (CVT, RVT, LVT) preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a veterinary clinic or hospital Advanced knowledge of anesthesia, emergency care, and specialized diagnostic equipment. Ability to manage complex cases and communicate effectively with clients and team members. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work alone and with a team in a fast-paced, high-stress environment. Compassionate, patient-focused attitude.
