Our clinic is seeking a Veterinary Technician to assist with a variety of tasks during a typical work day. The right candidate will have excellent communication skills and customer service skills, and will be able to work well with people and animals. The ideal candidate will also have prior experience in an animal clinic, veterinary medicine or the veterinary field. Spanish speaking bi-lingual is preferred.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate pets initially for signs of pain or disease Record information about pet treatment. Assist in sedation of pets Prepare animals for surgery. Take X-rays, apply casts, and apply bandages Perform diagnostic tests (blood work and urinalysis) Administer medications to animals. Assist the doctor in rooms and fill medications

$19.00 - $23.00 per hour
