We offer many services to provide the best comprehensive care to our patients including Preventative Care, Surgery, Urgent Care, Orthopedic Surgery, In-House Diagnostics, Digital full-body and dental radiology, Medical and/or Vacation Boarding and more. Mount Dora Veterinary Hospital is located in the beautiful small town of Mount Dora, FL. The proximity to 429 allows for easy commuting to Orlando. Orange County public schools are wonderful and full of opportunities, making it an ideal area to raise a family! Triage and patient restraint for exams and treatmentsSkilled sample collection and in-house laboratory diagnosticsAnesthetic induction and monitoringSurgical prep and assistance, including orthopedic proceduresRadiographic imaging (digital full-body and dental)Hospitalized patient care, medication administration, and treatment supportClear, compassionate communication with clients regarding care plans and proceduresYou'll also have access to hands-on training, and the support needed to grow into advanced roles if desired.
QualificationsWe're looking for:
A minimum of 1 year of experience as a veterinary technician in a clinical setting is requiredProficiency in anesthesia monitoring, lab diagnostics, and patient careStrong communication skills and a calm, team-focused attitudeAbility to multitask in a busy environmentA self-starter with a passion for ongoing learning and growthBilingual (English/Spanish) is a plusAdditional InformationPlease submit your application through this job ad.
