About Us At VDS, we are dedicated to providing advanced oral health care to our patients through exceptional dentistry, oral surgery, and maxillofacial procedures. Our team works closely to deliver the highest standard of specialty veterinary care in a supportive and collaborative environment. We are now seeking an experienced and motivated Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our growing specialty team. You will be joining veterinary technicians including LVTs with their VTS in Dentistry and in Anesthesia & Analgesia. Position Overview The Veterinary Technician will play an integral role in assisting with anesthesia and procedure workflows, patient care, client communication, and practice operations. This role is ideal for technicians passionate about specialty level care, and working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities Assist LVT-VTSs and DVMs with anesthesia and procedure set-up and preparation. Provide compassionate and attentive pre-op and post-op patient care. Maintain accurate medical records, treatment logs, and anesthesia sheets. Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, dental equipment, and sterile fields. Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment. Support the daily practice operations. Educate clients on dental procedures, home care, postoperative instructions, and follow-up care. Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold the practice's standard of patient care and safety. Qualifications Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) Previous experience in veterinary dentistry, anesthesia, surgery, or specialty practice highly valued. Strong understanding of daily surgical/anesthesia workflows. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to exceptional patient and client care. Ability to work efficiently, multitask, and stay organized and adaptable in a specialty environment. Passion for continuous learning and professional development. Why Join Us? Pay:
$26.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
