Job Description

The Virginia Beach SPCA (VBSPCA) Veterinary Clinic is a full-service clinic that focuses on high-volume spay/neuter, dental procedures, specialty surgeries, and routine veterinary care. Our clinic also operates the VBSPCA Neuter Scooter, a mobile spay/neuter vehicle and the VBSPCA Wellness Clinic that focuses on routine vaccination care. Our Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVTs) are essential members of our dedicated team of veterinary professionals. Their knowledge and skillset support the lifesaving and life improving work we accomplish for the Hampton Road Communities.
Compensation:
$26 - $28 an hour based on experience and skill. We are offering a $1,500 sign-on bonus for our newly hired LVTs. Sign-on bonuses will be paid out at $500 after 90 days and at $1,000 at your one year anniversary milestone.• Our Full-Time LVTs receive the following benefits: Competitive pay based on skill and experience Paid Time Off of 120 hours awarded at the start of each new year; a prorated amount provided at time of hire 8 Annual paid holidays Annual, employer paid continuing education Access to Medical, Vision, and Dental benefits Employee assistance program Access to reduced cost veterinary care at our facility VA licensing fees - paid by the
