$35.00 - $45.00 per hour (based on experience) Job Description Quality Refrigeration is seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our growing, family-owned company. With three generations of excellence in commercial and industrial service, we are expanding rapidly and looking for technicians who take pride in their work and want to grow with us. This role is ideal for a strong HVAC technician with solid diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, and experience in refrigeration is a major plus. You will be responsible for servicing a range of HVAC systems, with opportunities to work on more advanced commercial and industrial refrigeration equipment. What You'll Do Perform service calls on commercial HVAC systems with a focus on quality and efficiency Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC equipment Actively train on refrigeration system diagnostics and repair. Our goal is to provide you with the specialized mentorship needed to eventually master and work on refrigeration systems independently. Perform preventative maintenance and inspections Replace parts and ensure proper system operation Maintain accurate service records and documentation Communicate clearly with customers and internal teams Handle service accounts, including organization and follow-through Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to service needs as required Additional (Refrigeration - Preferred): Diagnose and troubleshoot commercial refrigeration systems Track refrigerant usage and maintain proper logs Support service of walk-ins, reach-ins, racks, and related systems Qualifications HVAC experience (5+ years preferred) Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Understanding of electrical systems (24V-480V) Ability to braze and solder copper pipe EPA Certification (required) Refrigeration experience is a strong plus Strong communication skills with both field and office teams Positive attitude with a focus on accountability and quality Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical work Valid Driver's License with clean driving record Compensation & Benefits $35-$50 per hour (based on experience) 401(k) with company match Medical, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off Schedule Full-time 8-hour shifts On-call rotation Overtime available
