• RN•IR Job Type Contract Take on a vital role in a dynamic Interventional Radiology department, where specialized nursing skills make a significant impact on patient outcomes.

This 13-week assignment is ideal for registered nurses with IR experience who thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced clinical environment and are ready to deliver exceptional care in advanced radiology procedures.

Schedule:

5 days per week, 7.5 hours per day Rotating shifts: 7:00 AM

• 3:00 PM, 7:30 AM
• 3:30 PM, 8:00 AM
• 4:00 PM, 9:00 AM
• 5:00 PM Weekly schedule will include rotation through each shift

Qualifications:

Active New Jersey RN license required BLS and ACLS certifications required Proven nursing experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly and maintain composure in a busy procedural setting Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Key Responsibilities:

Provide safe, proficient nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and other healthcare professionals throughout diagnostic and therapeutic interventions Monitor and manage patient status before, during, and after procedures, reacting quickly to changes Administer medications and IV sedation as needed, adhering strictly to protocols Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery expectations, and post-care instructions Document all aspects of patient care accurately and promptly This contract offering is an excellent opportunity for IR nurses seeking exposure to cutting-edge radiological care while contributing their expertise to a dedicated medical team.
