Duties Supervise daily cleaning activities across multiple sites, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Coordinate and schedule cleaning staff, assigning tasks based on priority and scope of work. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to verify cleanliness, floor care, and overall maintenance quality. Train team members on proper cleaning techniques, equipment use, and safety procedures. Oversee specialized cleaning tasks such as industrial cleaning, buffing, and floor care treatments. Maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment; coordinate procurement as needed. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations related to custodial work. Support facilities maintenance activities including minor repairs and residential painting when required. Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and performance feedback. Prepare reports on operational performance, staffing needs, and supply requirements for management review. Skills Proven experience in janitorial supervision or custodial management within commercial or industrial settings. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, including floor care, buffing, and industrial cleaning procedures. Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs and residential painting. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently. Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and train staff effectively. Knowledge of safety standards related to commercial cleaning and custodial work. Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Effective communication skills for coordinating teams and liaising with clients. Experience in managing inventory supplies for janitorial operations. Adaptability to diverse environments requiring attention to detail and quality assurance.
