Job Description
Landscape Laborer The Landscape Laborer position will be responsible for supporting and performing all tasks associated with our Landscape Maintenance department during our green season. This position has the potential to convert to year-round work supporting our Snow & Ice Management services. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are looking to build skills, grow with us, and be a part of a crew. The Maintenance Landscape Laborer role is key to ensuring our work meets or exceeds client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Commercial Landscape Skills:
perform all levels of landscape maintenance tasks assigned, maintain clean and organize sites, and adhere to all safety protocols, such as: (planting, weeding, removal of plants, bed clean-up, bed maintenance, mulching, trimming, watering, spring/fall clean-up, edging, and trimming) .Equipment Knowledge :
operation of landscape maintenance equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner: (string trimmers, edgers, leaf blowers, spray backs, chain saws, hand pruners, hedge trimmers, and mowers)Collaboration:
Build strong relationships with Field Managers, Production Managers and other Crew Members. Ability to work in a team environment.Time Recording :
adhere to time clock in/out procedures and be able to learn company apps.Training :
ability to grow within the company, attend and participate in all scheduled meetings and training sessions as required. Follow daily instructions from Field and Area Managers.Safety :
ensure that all work is performed safely and in accordance with company and industry standards and regulations. Must always wear assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).Qualifications:
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions Basic familiarity with landscaping maintenance, tools and equipment. As well as snow & ice management experience. (Entry-Mid Level) Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn and growPhysical Abilities :
to stand for extended period, walk long distances, manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to heavy weights up to 50lbs on regular basis. Be able to push, pull, and guide materials over 75lbs.Communication:
good verbal/written communication, and interpersonal skills. Must be able to become proficient with Apps (i.e. Aspire). Non-CDL DOT Medical Certificate, and valid driver's license. (Preferred) Must have independent reliable transportation. (Required) Bi-Lingual in Spanish. (Preferred) Must be at least 17 years of age. (Required) US work authorization. Green Season :
Monday to Friday with 7a prompt start, with occasional overtime and weekends; scheduled-based work.Snow Season :
