Landscape Team Member

JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. This role involves performing various tasks to ensure the health and aesthetics of gardens, lawns, and other outdoor spaces.

EMPLOYEE RESPONSIBILITIES

LAWN CARE:

• Mow lawns using various types of commercial mowers (push, riding, zero-turn).
• Edge and trim lawns around sidewalks, driveways, and other structures.
• Remove weeds and debris from lawns and landscape beds.

LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE

• Trim hedges, shrubs, and small trees.
• Plant flowers, trees, shrubs, and other plants.
• Apply mulch to landscape beds.
• Remove dead or damaged plants and branches.

EQUIPMENT OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE

• Operate and maintain lawn mowers, weed trimmers, leaf blowers, and other landscaping equipment. (willing to train)
• Ensure equipment is in good working order and report any issues.

OTHER DUTIES

• Clear snow and ice from sidewalks and driveways in winter.
• Load and unload equipment and materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

CLIENT INTERACTION

• Communicate with clients regarding lawn care needs and schedules.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional appearance.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Driver's License (clean)
• Experience driving a truck and trailer a bonus (willing to train)
• Physical stamina: work outdoors for 8 hours a day in various weather conditions such as extreme hot or cold as well as light rain and snow
• Ability to lift 60-80 lbs.

Job Types:

Full-time, Seasonal Pay:

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:
