• Weekend Supervisor & Resident Aide Peter Young Housing Industries & Treatment (PYHIT) is currently hiring for three openings at Schuyler Inn in Menands, NY.

We are looking for dependable, compassionate individuals who are committed to supporting residents and maintaining a safe, respectful environment. Position 1:

Part-Time Weekend Supervisor Schedule:

Saturday & Sunday 12:00 AM

• 8:00 AM The Weekend Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the facility and staff during the overnight weekend shift, ensuring policies and procedures are followed, addressing resident needs and concerns, maintaining safety and security, and completing required documentation.

Positions 2 & 3: Full-Time Resident Aide We have two full-time Resident Aide openings , with the following schedules: Resident Aide

• Schedule 1 Monday
• Thursday: 7:00 AM
• 3:00

PM Sunday:

9:00 AM

• 5:00 PM Resident Aide
• Schedule 2 Wednesday
• Friday: 9:00 AM
• 5:00

PM Saturday:

7:00 AM

• 3:00 PM Resident Aides provide day-to-day support to residents, assist with maintaining a safe and welcoming environment, monitor the facility, respond to resident needs, complete required documentation, and support the overall operation of the shelter.

Qualifications Previous experience in a shelter, residential, human services, or related setting is preferred but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Dependable and able to maintain consistent attendance. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to remain calm and professional when handling challenging situations. Must be comfortable working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and circumstances. Supervisory experience is preferred for the Weekend Supervisor position.
