Job Overview Join our dedicated team as a Correctional Officer - I, where you will play a vital role in maintaining safety, security, and order within correctional facilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, ensuring the well-being of staff, inmates, and visitors alike. Your proactive approach and commitment to security will help foster a safe and respectful environment while supporting the rehabilitation process. We seek energetic individuals who are motivated to uphold laws, enforce facility policies, and manage conflicts effectively. Duties Monitor inmate activities and conduct regular visual inspections of the facility to ensure safety and compliance. Enforce rules and regulations within the correctional environment, responding swiftly to disturbances or emergencies. Manage inmate movement and oversee daily routines, including meal distribution, recreation, and work assignments. Utilize conflict management skills to de-escalate tense situations and maintain order among inmates and staff. Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and other documentation accurately reflecting daily activities and incidents. Administer first aid or CPR when necessary, providing immediate assistance in emergency situations.
