Gordon Cooper Dr. / Shawnee, OK 74801 General Description The incumbent is responsible and accountable for performing educational and investigative work regarding the coordination and management of drug & violent crimes investigations in and/or around tribal casinos and trust land. Responsibilities & Duties General administration and ongoing development of all drug & violent crime investigation activities. Facilitate investigations, enhance inter-agency coordination, and share intelligence with multiple jurisdictions. Provide additional manpower and equipment to local law enforcement agencies for the aforementioned investigations. Assist in case management of violent crime-related cases as necessary Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education and Qualifications High School Graduate or GED equivalent. certified. Must possess two years of law enforcement experience. Must possess or have the ability to obtain instructor-level certifications. Selected applicants must pass an extensive background investigation, psychological test, physical training test, and drug screen. This position is physically active and high-stress. No Felony convictions or misdemeanor convictions for crimes of domestic violence or crimes of moral turpitude. Effective oral and written communication skills. Must have a valid Oklahoma Driver's License Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Have good physical strength and stamina; Be independent, responsible, and self-disciplined; Ability to lift 50lbs. Sitting or standing, or walking for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
