A. PRIMARY FUNCTION
Under supervision, to assist in the supervision of elementary and middle school students; and to do related work as required.
B. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
Directly responsible to designated administrators.
C. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Assists in maintaining order among students in the school and on the school groups; observes students in lunch line and while eating to maintain discipline; checks and supervises hallways; restrooms, and outside play areas; checks assigned areas for discarded belongings; discourages any unsafe activity; encourages the proper use of school equipment; assists in clearing grounds and maintaining order; understands and carries out oral and written directions; maintains cooperative relationships with students, teachers, and co-workers.
