Recess Aides play an important role in creating a safe, positive, and enjoyable outdoor environment where students can build friendships, stay active, and develop social skills. The successful candidate will supervise students during recess, encourage positive interactions, and help ensure that all students remain safe while enjoying outdoor play. Responsibilities
  • Supervise students during scheduled recess periods to ensure a safe and inclusive environment
  • Monitor student behavior and encourage respectful, responsible, and cooperative play
  • Promote positive conflict resolution and assist students in resolving minor disagreements
  • Respond promptly to safety concerns, accidents, or incidents and report them to school administration as appropriate
  • Enforce school rules and expectations while maintaining a positive and supportive atmosphere
  • Communicate effectively with teachers and administrators regarding student concerns or incidents
  • Assist with transitions to and from recess as needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the building principal.
