CROSSING GUARD QUALIFICATIONS
: High school diploma (additional related training desirable but not required) Ability to assume responsibility, display initiative, and exercise good judgment.
CROSSING GUARD GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide safety for public school students, private school students, and community members crossing streets or intersections. Properly handle confidential matters relating to students, student records, parents, staff and any other school-related issues.
CROSSING GUARD ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Follow village ordinances regarding private and public school students and community members crossing streets. Use good judgment in stopping traffic with proper use of manual stop sign and hand signals. Report traffic violations to the Police Liaison Officer. Maintain confidentiality and loyalty to employer. Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Business Manager. Promote a positive image of the District at all times.

Starting Hourly rate $22.37, depending on experience School year only Daily 6:45AM
  • 8:15AM and 2:30PM
  • 4:00PM Will split AM and PM positions Paid Holidays Sick Leave /
