BCS is looking for a Machine Maintenance Technician to help keep our print and mail equipment operating reliably. BCS produces and delivers important customer communications. Our production team depends on working equipment to meet client deadlines, so this role has a direct impact on the work we deliver each day. Training and shift Training will begin on first shift, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We expect training to take the first few months. Once you understand our equipment and operations and can work independently, you'll move to second shift, Monday through Friday, from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Occasional overtime or weekend hours may be needed. What you'll do Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair digital printers, mail inserting equipment, and other production machinery. Perform routine maintenance and identify problems before they cause extended downtime. Diagnose equipment issues and replace defective parts. Work with equipment vendors when repairs need outside support. Keep the Production Supervisor informed about equipment issues, repair status, and parts needed. Assist with basic facility maintenance and repairs. Support production as an insert operator when needed. What we're looking for Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on maintenance or repair experience. The ability to troubleshoot problems and work independently. Good communication, organization, and attention to detail. The ability to manage priorities when equipment issues affect production. A high school diploma or GED equivalent. Experience with digital printers or mailing equipment is helpful, but not required. We're willing to train the right person who has a solid mechanical background and wants to learn our equipment. Pay and benefits Starting pay is $25.50 per hour.
