Aviation Process Specialist Top Aces Corporation - 4.1 Mesa, AZ Job Details 22 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Safety protocol adherence Safety regulations Desktop applications Productivity software Full Job Description The Aviation Process Specialist is responsible for the development, implementation, and continual improvement of standardized business processes and procedures that support maintenance and enterprise operations. This role ensures compliance with applicable regulatory, contractual, and quality management system requirements through effective process governance. The Aviation Process Specialist partners across the organization to drive process standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, implement, maintain, and improve standardized business processes, procedures, work instructions, and related documentation supporting maintenance and other business functions Integrate regulatory, contractual, quality, safety, and business requirements into standardized processes to ensure compliance, consistency, and traceability across the organization. Translate customer and other applicable regulatory requirements into practical processes, workflows, and procedures while providing guidance to process owners on implementation and compliance expectations. Collaborate with department leaders to develop, implement, and maintain standardized business processes that support operational excellence and organizational objectives. Support customer, regulatory, certification, and government audits and assessments by maintaining objective evidence, compliance documentation, and records to demonstrate organizational compliance. Support cross-jurisdiction airworthiness initiatives, compliance matrices, and related documentation, in coordination with operational and compliance leadership. Develop and deliver training on company processes, procedures, documented information control, quality management system requirements, risk-based thinking, and process ownership responsibilities. Support the implementation of new and revised processes and procedures by coordinating stakeholder communications, providing training, and supporting adoption activities across operating locations. Work with Quality Assurance to monitor process effectiveness, identify opportunities for standardization and improvement, and recommend and implement process/procedure improvements that enhance compliance, operational effectiveness, and organizational performance. Collect, analyze and report procedure performance metrics utilizing audit results, process data, and stakeholder feedback to evaluate effectiveness and support continual improvement. Perform other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND/OR QUALIFICATIONS
Comprehensive knowledge of quality management systems, documented information control, business process management principles, and
ISO 9001
2015 requirements as applied within aviation maintenance organizations. Extensive working knowledge of
AS9110C, AS9100, FAA
regulations, DCMA INST 8210.1D, EMAR, and other applicable aviation quality and regulatory requirements. Demonstrated expertise in process design, procedure and work instruction development, document control, internal auditing, and enterprise process governance within an aerospace or aviation maintenance environment. Working knowledge of Quality Management System (QMS) principles and operational risk management, with the ability to integrate safety and risk controls into standardized business processes. Ability to interpret regulatory, contractual, and customer quality requirements and translate them into practical procedures, process controls, and documented workflows. Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and support process improvement initiatives. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers. Must be proficient in MS Office Suite. Must demonstrate safe and healthy workplace practices. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Must be able to travel within the US and internationally. Must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the Aviation Process Specialist in daily work performance. Must be eligible for US Security Clearance, if required. Must be able to obtain a CAC (Common Access Card) and not be barred from any installation.
EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE
Minimum 4 years' experience in aviation maintenance, quality, QMS/Compliance, or process management directly tied to AS9110 or AS9100. Experience in military aviation and/or DoD contracted aviation programs, preferred. AS9110C Lead Auditor certification, AS9101/IA QG AATT certification, or equivalent quality auditing certification, preferred. Bachelor's degree in business management, aviation management, quality management, or related field, a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to sit for extended periods of time while working at a computer. Ability to work in an office environment with standard lighting, noise levels, and climate conditions. This role may be performed around loud noises and hazardous chemicals with exposure to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
