This is a full-time contract Office Based assignment with our client (approximately 3-year project). This position offers a competitive package including benefits, vacation and holidays. Overview of YOUR role as a Document Specialist As a Document Specialist, you will manage document data and information in a production-driven environment. You will navigate SharePoint, update Excel databases, retrieve information from various document types, and record data using client-provided software. This role requires someone detail-oriented who can handle repetitive tasks, adapt to changes, and communicate effectively with multiple teams while meeting tight deadlines. As a Document Specialist YOU will:
- Navigate SharePoint to review and update mandatory files
- Update Excel with provided formulas and metadata requirements
- Retrieve information from various document types (As-Builts, JCFs, Service Cards, etc.)
- Utilize client-provided software to record data
- Address issues with relevant teams through appropriate communication channels
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Meet project deadlines and production metrics YOU are the ideal Document Specialist candidate if you have:
- Ability to handle repetitive tasks with strong attention to detail (required)
- Ability to adapt to project/standard changes while meeting tight deadlines (required)
- Interdisciplinary communication skills with ability to work with multiple groups (required)
- Capability to work independently with minimal supervision (required)
- Proficiency with MS Office and MS Excel
- Basic computer knowledge
- Multi-tasking and adaptability skills
- Availability for office hours 8am-4:45pm EST It's a BONUS if you have:
- SharePoint experience
- Document management experience
- Previous production or metrics-driven environment experience
