Full Job Description Summary:
Regent Bank is looking for a Loan Documentation Specialist II. This role performs advanced document creation, pre-documentation and post-documentation functions for consumer and commercial loans, serving as a resource for documentation accuracy and compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare and review complex commercial and consumer loan documents Conduct detailed pre-documentation reviews to ensure credit approval alignment Coordinate document corrections and re-execution as needed Performs post-documentation quality control and trailing document follow-up Ensure documentation complies with bank policy and regulatory requirements Support audits, exams, and internal reviews related to loan documentation Provide guidance and support to Loan Documentation Specialist I staff
Education And/Or Experience:
Associate or bachelor's degree preferred 3-5 years of loan documentation or loan operations experience Working knowledge of commercial and consumer loan documentation requirements
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Analytical skills Regulatory awareness
Problem-solving Collaboration Physical Requirements:
Ability to remain seated for extended periods while working at a computer workstation Frequent use of hands and fingers for keyboarding, data entry, and handling documents Ability to view computer screens for prolonged periods with close visual attention to detail Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching within the office environment Ability to lift and carry files or office materials weighing up to 25 pounds Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person, by telephone, and via electronic communication These physical requirements are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
