Experience with leading initiatives from start to finish Strong knowledge of business acumen and a deep understanding of business implications of decisions Strong understanding of company values, mission, vision and strategic direction Thorough knowledge of GM Financial's business operations Recognized as a subject matter expert in area(s) of specialty Demonstrates relationship management skills and ability to influence others to achieve results by working across the business segment, being open to ideas and actively engaging others Ability to provide leadership through mentorship, influence, inspiration, collaboration and teamwork Demonstrates professional behavior in using logic, analysis and judgment when encountering challenges Ability to innovate and adopt new approaches, technologies and solutions Ability to establish strong working relationships and build trust with peers, cross-functional partners and related professional organizations Additional Knowledge and Skills Working effectively within an AI enabled environment: Ability to use AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to support daily work Skills in evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias Experience integrating AI into workflows to improve efficiency or insights Familiarity with AI assisted research, summarization, and content generation Understanding of responsible AI use, including ethics and data protection Experience with AI assisted software development or automation Knowledge of prompting techniques to improve output quality Awareness of emerging GenAI capabilities and limitations Certifications and Licenses Related certifications and/or licenses required Member of and recommendation by accredited association in related field preferred Work Experience and Education Greater than 10 years in related function required 3-5 years leading through mentorship in related field required 3-5 years leading projects and initiatives through influence required High School Diploma or equivalent required Associate Degree or High School Equivalent plus 2 additional years of related experience required
