The ideal candidate has hands-on experience inspecting, servicing, recharging, and maintaining portable fire extinguishers in accordance with NFPA 10 standards and California fire code requirements.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections and maintenance of portable fire extinguishers Service, recharge, repair, and replace fire extinguishers as needed Perform annual inspections and required documentation Identify code compliance issues and recommend corrective actions Complete inspection reports accurately using company systems Maintain professional relationships with customers and provide excellent service Follow all safety procedures and company standards
Qualifications:
Active California State Fire Marshal (CSFM) Fire Extinguisher Technician certification preferred Experience servicing portable fire extinguishers required Knowledge of NFPA 10 standards Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to work independently and manage a service route Strong customer service and communication skills
Preferred Experience:
Commercial fire protection service experience Knowledge of different extinguisher types and applications Experience with fire extinguisher inspection software and reporting
