Description:
BLS is seeking an Administrative Operations Associate, with a high degree of interest in becoming part of one of the largest public accounting firms in Delaware. Requirements:
Job duties include: Formatting, typing, proofing and assembling client financial statements, including linking documents and capably utilizing industry software Typing, proofing and assembling planning, engagement, management representation, legal and confirmation letters to clients and financial institutions as well as general correspondence Assembling and distributing tax returns, using electronic and manual methods and researching and applying statutory guidelines and government compliance regulations Using industry software to operate client database, project tracking and time entry Operating within a paperless environment to create client deliverables, store client information and process government forms Assisting with client bookkeeping-related duties, as needed, including check writing, bank reconciliations, journal entries and use of accounting software applications Preferred qualifications/experience/skills include: Associates' degree in office administration, administrative services or other similar course of study Sound judgment, strong organizational and multi-tasking skills and detail-oriented Ability to work with little direct supervision, excellent time management skills and ability to change direction as needed Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Ability to learn and utilize industry-related software, including ProSystems Practice Management, Document, Tax and Engagement Ability to navigate the Internet, including web platforms and research resourcefulness Bookkeeping and/or paraprofessional experience and skills are a plus Recent related experience, preferably in a public accounting environment is a plus
