Job Description

Job Summary Join our dedicated law enforcement team as a Deputy Sheriff, where you will play a vital role in maintaining public safety, enforcing laws, and supporting community well-being. This dynamic position offers the opportunity to serve with integrity, demonstrate leadership, and make a tangible difference in the lives of residents. As a Deputy Sheriff, you will be at the forefront of criminal investigations, crime prevention, and emergency response efforts, ensuring a secure environment for all. Responsibilities Enforce local, state, and federal laws through patrols, investigations, and arrests. Conduct thorough criminal investigations by gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and documenting findings. Respond promptly to emergency calls and incidents, providing first aid or CPR when necessary to stabilize victims. Maintain surveillance using various techniques to monitor suspicious activity and prevent crime. Write detailed reports on incidents, arrests, and investigations to ensure accurate record-keeping. Manage conflict situations with professionalism and tact to de-escalate tensions effectively. Assist in community outreach programs to foster trust and cooperation between law enforcement and residents. Requirements Proven experience or training in law enforcement procedures and criminal investigation techniques. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate law enforcement vehicles safely. Certification in first aid and CPR; ability to provide emergency medical assistance if needed. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage stressful situations confidently. Background in military service or security work is highly desirable. Knowledge of immigration law, loss prevention strategies, and animal handling is a plus. Excellent report writing skills with attention to detail; experience in conflict management essential.
