Our firm is looking for a motivated career-minded attorney with litigation/transactional experience, who wants to take on real responsibility, with a personal goal for advancement. Candidates will be expected to take depositions, argue motions, structure and prepare documents and communicate directly with clients and build his/her book of business. Preferred Qualifications:

J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in the State Bar of California in good standing. 2+ years of civil litigation/transactional experience; real estate, construction, business, or trust-litigation/transactional background is a strong plus. Excellent legal writing/analysis and oral-advocacy skills, with the business judgment to candidly counsel clients about cost and risk rather than just advocate a position. Ownership mentality — someone who wants to take on responsibility, build relationships, and grow with the firm. Ability to handle multiple active matters and deadlines and enjoys the diversity of the subject matter of the practice and the collaboration of working primarily in the office.
