Associate Attorney | 5+ Years' Experience A well-established Florida law firm is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join its estate planning and administration practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a polished, proactive attorney with a strong background in estate planning, probate, trusts, guardianship, and related planning matters . The successful candidate will work across both planning and administration matters, advising clients and supporting them through complex estate and succession planning needs. Key Responsibilities Advise clients on estate planning and wealth transfer strategies. Handle probate and trust administration matters from inception through completion. Assist clients with guardianship matters and related proceedings. Advise on Medicaid planning and Special Needs Trusts (SNTs) . Draft and review estate planning documents, trusts and related legal instruments. Manage matters independently while collaborating with colleagues and other professional advisers. Maintain strong client relationships and deliver a consistently high level of service. Stay current with relevant Florida legislation, regulations and case law. Use technology effectively to manage matters, documentation, communication and workflow. Candidate Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Active membership in the Florida Bar and in good standing. Minimum 5 years of relevant practice experience in estate planning, probate, trust administration and/or related areas. Demonstrated experience with guardianship, Medicaid planning and Special Needs Trusts is highly desirable. Strong legal research, drafting and analytical skills. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail. Self-starter who takes ownership of their work and is comfortable working proactively and independently. Professional, polished and confident manner with strong client-facing skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Advanced technology proficiency and confidence working with modern legal technology and software. Able to provide professional references .
