Lauren A. Buchanan & Associates is a personal injury law firm based in Naperville, IL that provides representation and compassionate guidance and counseling to those who are injured throughout Chicago and the greater Chicagoland area. We are looking for a full-time Associate Attorney to join our team. Prior experience with a personal injury law firm is preferred, but not required. The ideal candidate will be currently licensed to practice law in Illinois with 1-2 years of personal injury litigation experience.

Responsibilities:

• Interviewing potential clients.
• Drafting demands and negotiating settlements.
• Client communication and case management.
• Handling all aspects of litigations to include but not limited to filing suit, propounding and answering discovery, motions, attending court, and depositions.

Requirements:

• Currently licensed to practice in Illinois.
• Licensed to practice in Federal Court preferred but not required.
• Excellent writer.
• Ability to work independently.
• Friendly personality and positive attitude.
• Self-motivated and looking to develop a book of business.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, weekends and after hours as needed.

Salary:

• Commensurate with Experience.
