Family Law Paralegal
Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Family Law Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will provide essential support in family law cases, ensuring smooth case progression from initial client consultation through to resolution. Your expertise will help facilitate effective communication with clients, manage legal documents, and assist attorneys with case preparation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful family law matters while working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, family law experience and a passion for delivering outstanding client service. Responsibilities Assist attorneys with case management, including drafting legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence specific to family law cases such as divorce, child custody, and support matters Manage and organize case files using document management systems like Clio, Family Law Software and Microsoft Suite Prepare discovery requests, responses, and other procedural documents in compliance with court rules Coordinate court filings, schedule hearings, and communicate effectively with clients regarding case status updates Support attorneys with administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and proofreading documents Qualifications Proven paralegal experience with a focus on family law or related legal fields such as civil litigation Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Word processing, and document review software Experience with legal case management systems such as Clio and Family Law Software Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment Exceptional communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and professionally Familiarity with legal drafting, proofreading, and document management best practices

Pay:
$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
