Role:

We're looking for a candidate with litigation experience, ideally in family law. Experience in estate planning, probate, or estate litigation is a strong plus.

Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload spanning family law, estate planning, guardianship, probate, and estate litigation. Draft motions, pleadings, discovery requests, financial statements, and other legal documents. Take depositions and affidavits of clients and witnesses. Conduct and analyze legal research. Manage shifting timelines and competing priorities across multiple active cases. Set and manage client expectations throughout the representation. Support other case types as needed.

Qualifications:

Admission to the Maryland Bar required; DC Bar admission a plus. Minimum 1 year of litigation experience, preferably in family law. Experience with estate planning, guardianships, probate, or estate litigation a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Experience with case management software, Clio preferred. Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
