We are looking for an experienced Attorney/Lawyer to support active litigation matters in Southfield, Michigan. This Long-term Contract position is suited for a detail-oriented legal specialist who is confident in court, skilled in motion practice, and comfortable managing matters involving no-fault and bodily injury claims. The role offers the opportunity to handle cases from development through trial preparation while working in a fast-paced legal environment.

Responsibilities:

Represent clients in litigation involving no-fault personal injury protection and bodily injury matters from initial case assessment through resolution. Appear in court on a routine basis and advocate effectively during hearings, conferences, and related proceedings. Prepare, review, and file motions, pleadings, and other legal documents with strong attention to accuracy and strategy. Oversee litigation activity, including case planning, procedural deadlines, and coordination of trial-related tasks. Conduct legal research and develop written arguments to support briefs, motions, and case strategy. Manage discovery efforts by drafting responses, reviewing evidence, and preparing materials necessary for depositions and hearings. Juris Doctor degree and admission to practice law in the State of Michigan. 3 to 5 years of experience handling civil litigation matters. Demonstrated background in no-fault personal injury protection and bodily injury or third-party claims. Proven ability to draft motions, briefs, and other litigation documents independently. Experience managing discovery and supporting cases through trial preparation. Strong courtroom presence and confidence in making regular court appearances.
