2-6 Years Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join a medical malpractice litigation team in New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have 2-6 years of litigation experience , preferably with a background in medical malpractice, personal injury, general liability, healthcare litigation, or other civil litigation. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex litigation matters while collaborating with an experienced legal team. Candidates should be comfortable taking initiative, managing cases and deadlines, and working both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Defend and manage complex medical malpractice and civil litigation matters . Assist with all stages of litigation, including case preparation, discovery, pleadings, motions, and hearings. Conduct legal research and analysis and prepare legal documents. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other parties. Manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities efficiently. Develop case strategies in collaboration with attorneys and team members. Work independently while seeking guidance when appropriate. Demonstrate sound judgment, initiative, and creative problem-solving. Maintain thorough and accurate case files and documentation. Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Active admission to the New Jersey Bar is required. 2-6 years of litigation experience. Experience in medical malpractice is strongly preferred . Candidates with strong general civil litigation, personal injury, general liability, or healthcare litigation experience will also be considered. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
