Associate Attorney

Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse range of legal practice areas, including estate planning, real estate, civil, and more. As an Associate Attorney, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive legal counsel, conducting research, preparing legal documents, and supporting litigation efforts. Responsibilities Conduct thorough legal research using platforms such as LexisNexis to support case strategies and statutory interpretation. Draft and review legal documents including contracts, motions, pleadings, and discovery materials with precision and clarity. Assist in trial preparation. Provide legal counsel to clients on various matters such as real estate, landlord-tenant disputes, and estate planning. Engage in negotiations with opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes for clients across diverse practice areas. Manage legal case files efficiently using case management software; ensure all documentation complies with procedural laws and court requirements. Support litigation efforts through legal advocacy, procedural law application, and courtroom assistance as needed. Communicate complex legal concepts clearly to clients and internal teams while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. Experience Prior experience working in a law office or legal environment demonstrating familiarity with transactional work, litigation and trial procedures. Strong research skills utilizing LexisNexis platforms to support case development and legal analysis. Experience drafting contracts, motions, pleadings, and other legal documents with attention to detail. Knowledge of procedural laws relevant to court depositions, trial preparation, and litigation processes. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining high-quality work standards. Excellent writing skills combined with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels. Familiarity with legal administrative tasks such as filing court documents and tracking case progress. Background in practicing across diverse areas is highly desirable.
