Small real estate law firm in Fresh Meadows seeks an experienced real estate paralegal. We specialize in residential and commercial real estate transactions and probate/estate administration. Duties include drafting legal documents (including contracts of sale, contract amendments, deeds and transfer documents, and LLC documents), reviewing title reports and assisting with clearing title, preparing closing statements (including calculating adjustments), answering phones and communicating with attorneys/brokers/clients, managing files, calendars, and office correspondence. Strong time management and organizational skills necessary. Must be able to work independently, have excellent communication and writing skills and be detail-oriented. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, Gmail and Calendar. Notary Public License required or must be willing to obtain. 3+ years experience working in as a real estate paralegal is required.

Salary:

$75K-85K + bonus/commission opportunities.

$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
