Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Managing Attorney to lead our legal team with energy, expertise, and a commitment to excellence. The Managing Attorney will oversee a diverse portfolio of legal matters, ensuring compliance, strategic advocacy, and effective client representation across multiple practice areas. Duties Provide expert legal counsel across various practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, personal injury law, employment law, and general & commercial litigation. Lead and manage the legal team to ensure high-quality case management, research, and advocacy. Oversee complex litigation processes such as trial preparation, court depositions, legal motion drafting, and procedural law application. Develop and implement effective negotiation strategies for client settlements and contractual agreements. Conduct comprehensive legal research utilizing tools like LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case development and statutory interpretation. Draft clear and precise legal documents including contracts, pleadings, motions, and legal opinions while maintaining high standards of legal writing. Supervise client communication to ensure transparency, responsiveness, and professional service delivery. Manage case files using advanced legal case management systems to track progress and deadlines efficiently. Provide training and mentorship to junior attorneys and support staff to foster professional growth within the team. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission in relevant jurisdictions. Extensive experience in multiple practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, personal injury case experience, employment law case experience, and general litigation. Proven ability in legal research using LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms. Strong skills in negotiation, trial preparation, court depositions, legal motion preparation, contract drafting and legal writing. Exceptional leadership capabilities with experience managing a diverse team of attorneys and support staff. Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly to clients and stakeholders. Deep procedural knowledge of courtroom procedures along with familiarity with statutory laws across multiple jurisdictions. Prior experience working in a fast-paced law office environment with demonstrated success in managing multiple cases simultaneously. $125,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
