Job Description
The Attorney IV is an experienced trial or appeals attorney that handles the most serious cases in the office on a daily basis. This position is also responsible for supervising other attorneys and overseeing various units and special assignments in the office. A criminal background check is required. Provide client representation in all matters before the Court of Common Pleas. Provide client representation at preliminary hearings. Responsible for handling appeals. Conduct major trials or appeals (including preparation and court time) Responsible for daily decision-making and input. Assist in developing and responding to policies. Assist with office administration, including the supervision and training of attorneys and other staff. Available to handle emergencies or questions as they come into the office. Handle pre-arrest investigations. Attend meetings with other agencies and community groups. Perform other duties, tasks and special projects, as required. Qualifications /
