We pride ourselves on offering compassionate, results-driven representation to individuals navigating divorce, allocation of parental responsibilities, child support and maintenance, post-decree litigation, and related family law matters. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated Associate Attorney to join our team and help us provide exceptional service to our clients in Will, Grundy, and Kendall Counties.Position Overview:
We are seeking a licensed Illinois attorney with a strong interest and background in family law. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a supportive, team-oriented environment and is looking to grow their practice with mentorship and meaningful client interaction.Duties:
Handle a full caseload of family law matters from consultation to resolution Represent clients in family law matters including divorce, child custody, child support, and orders of protection Draft and review motions, pleadings, discovery, and settlement agreements Attend court hearings, mediations, trials, depositions, settlement conferences and client meetings Maintain accurate records of case files and client communications Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and development. Conduct legal research and provide strategic analysis on case matters Provide legal counsel and regular updates to clients with empathy and clarity Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to practice areas, including local county rulesRequirements :
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active Illinois law license in good standing 2+ years of experience practicing family law preferred (will consider newer attorneys with strong internships or background in family law) Strong litigation, negotiation, and writing skills with attention to detail Ability to manage multiple matters and deadline Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment Commitment to client service and professional growthWe Offer:
