The Opportunity We are looking for a junior to mid-level corporate associate (0-5 years of experience) to join our transactional practice focusing on common interest developments and real estate law. This role offers substantive, hands-on experience working directly with HOA boards and tackling sophisticated governance and land use matters. What You'll Do As an associate at Green & French, you will handle a diverse range of transactionald, litigation and advisory matters, including: Restating and amending CC&Rs and other governing documents for homeowners associations, condominiums, and planned communities Reviewing and negotiating various contracts on behalf of HOA clients Advising HOA boards on complex governance issues, including compliance with the Davis-Stirling Act Drafting and negotiating land use agreements, easements, and development-related documents Providing strategic counsel to boards on operational and legal matters litigation support This position offers significant client interaction and the opportunity to develop expertise in a specialized and growing practice area.

Who You Are Required Qualifications:

Active member of the California State Bar in good standing 2-5 years of transactional experience, preferably in real estate, land use, or common interest development law Experience representing HOAs, community associations, or related real estate entities strongly preferred Excellent legal writing and drafting skills Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously
