Job Description

Established (15+ Years) Premier Firm Seeking Attorney in Los Angeles, CAAn established firm based in Los Angeles, CA with over 15+ years in practice is seeking a Attorney with 1-10+ years of experience to join their team onsite. This Attorney will handle a high-impact caseload focused on toxic tort, mold, slumlord habitability, and personal injury matters on the plaintiff side, along with business defense litigation in state and federal courts.
Offer:
Salary range: $120,000-$350,000+, contingent on experienceHybrid schedule available after six months, with one remote day per weekCalSavers retirement planSubsidized Kaiser medical coverage with 50% employer contributionDental and vision coverageDirect opportunities to conduct motion practice, depositions, oral argument, and jury trials
Qualifications:
1-10+ years of plaintiff civil litigation experienceFamiliarity with toxic tort, mass tort, habitability, or personal injury matters is highly valuedJuris Doctor degree from an accredited law schoolActive California Bar admission in good standingDemonstrated experience handling motion practice, written discovery, and depositionsStrong legal research, writing, and analytical skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a small-firm environmentExcellent oral advocacy and client communication skills
Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of plaintiff civil litigation matters from intake through resolutionConduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documentsPropound and respond to written discoveryTake and defend depositionsConduct oral argument in state and federal courtDevelop case strategy in collaboration with senior attorneysRepresent clients at hearings, mediations, and trials, with opportunities to first- and second-chair jury trialsProvide ongoing legal counsel and case updates to clients throughout the litigation processBenefits
