Summary A banking and financial services law firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Transaction / SBA Lending Attorney with 5+ years of SBA lending experience. The attorney will focus on Small Business Administration (SBA) 7(a) and 504 loan transactions, representing financial institution lenders in commercial lending matters. This position offers remote work for the right candidate. Responsibilities Independently manage and close SBA 7(a) and 504 loan transactions. Advise lenders on SBA eligibility, compliance, collateral, and closing requirements. Draft, review, and negotiate commercial loan documentation. Review title commitments, surveys, UCC/lien searches, leases, purchase and sale agreements, and franchise documents. Conduct legal due diligence for commercial lending transactions. Ensure compliance with SBA SOPs, lending regulations, and closing procedures. Collaborate with lenders and internal teams to facilitate timely loan closings. Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school. Active Bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. Minimum 5 years of commercial lending and SBA lending experience. Extensive experience handling SBA 7(a) and 504 loan closings.
