SENIOR ASSOCIATE - MEDICAL MALPRACTICE DEFENSE LITIGATION

Concord, NH | Office/Hybrid $115,000-$125,000+ Base + Bonus 3-5+ Years of Experience We are seeking an experienced Medical Malpractice Defense Litigation Senior Associate to join an established and growing defense practice in Concord, NH. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants substantial case responsibility, long-term career growth, and a potential path toward leadership and partnership. The firm has a strong existing caseload, with retiring partners looking to transition established practices to the next generation of attorneys. Key Responsibilities Handle medical malpractice defense matters from inception through resolution Take full ownership of assigned files and litigation strategy Manage discovery, depositions, motions, hearings, experts, and case preparation Work directly with clients, insurers, opposing counsel, experts, and courts Prepare cases for trial and participate in trials as experience permits Manage a substantial caseload in a busy defense practice Ideal Candidate 3-5+ years of medical malpractice defense litigation experience Defense-side experience is required ; plaintiff-side backgrounds are not a fit Demonstrated ability to manage cases independently from inception through resolution Strong research, writing, advocacy, and client-service skills Trial experience preferred Compensation & Benefits $115,000-$125,000+ base salary Associate bonus program — strong performance bonuses of $10,000+ Excellent benefits Significant long-term leadership & partnership opportunity Initially in-office a minimum of 4 days/week, with potential flexibility for 3-4 remote days/week thereafter Salary flexibility may be available for candidates with additional relevant experience Interested?
