Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and bilingual Family Law Paralegal to join our dedicated legal team. This energetic professional will play a vital role in supporting family law cases, assisting with client communication, managing legal documentation, and ensuring smooth case progression. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive attitude, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for helping clients navigate complex family law matters. Fluency in both English and another language is essential to effectively serve our diverse client base. Duties Assist attorneys with case preparation, including drafting legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence in both languages Conduct thorough legal research across various areas such as family law, estate planning, and tribal law & regulations using LexisNexis, and other legal research tools Manage case files efficiently using document management systems like MyCase and PCLaw, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date Support client communication by scheduling appointments, answering inquiries professionally via phone and email, and maintaining confidentiality at all times Review legal documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with procedural law requirements Coordinate with courts, agencies, and external parties to facilitate filings and case progressions in civil litigation support scenarios Experience Proven paralegal experience supporting family law cases or related legal fields such as personal injury law or workers' compensation law Familiarity with legal administrative tasks including data entry, filing, proofreading, and document review Strong knowledge of procedural law and litigation processes within a law office environment Experience utilizing legal research platforms like Westlaw or LexisNexis to gather pertinent case information Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Word processing, and document management systems such as iManage or PCLaw Excellent organizational skills coupled with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both English and another language fluently; prior experience working with diverse populations is preferred Join our team to leverage your legal support skills in a vibrant environment that values energetic professionals committed to delivering exceptional service.
