Job Description
An AV-rated, well-established (almost 30 yrs) personal injury law firm is seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney to join our close-knit team. Starting salary is negotiable based upon experience with the opportunity to earn commissions and/or bonuses. We offer excellent benefits and the opportunity for a qualified candidate to work directly alongside the Managing Partner, serving as a trusted right-hand partner in supporting daily operations and strategic priorities. This position includes providing mentorship and guidance to paralegals and support staff. Superior attention to detail and the ability to handle all types of personal injury cases are crucial to success in this position.
Required Qualifications:
Must be admitted and licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia Active member in good standing with the Virginia State Bar 3-5 years of prior litigation experience, specifically in personal injury matters Highly developed negotiation, communication, and trial advocacy skills Strong knowledge of personal injury law, including medical records, bills, and injury assessment In-depth understanding of Virginia automobile insurance coverages and claims processes Experience with case management software (Neos preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat Proven ability to effectively mentor and supervise paralegals and support staffPreferred Qualifications:
