Job Description

Position Summary:
Multani Law Group is seeking a highly organized and proactive Personal Injury Case Manager to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of a personal injury case from intake to settlement, ensuring that each client receives exceptional service, timely updates, and compassionate guidance throughout their case. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing a significant caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
Case Intake & Client Onboarding:
Conduct initial client interviews and gather essential information related to the accident and injuries. Evaluate case viability and prepare intake summaries for attorneys. Ensure all required documents are signed, including retainer agreements, medical authorizations, and HIPAA forms.
Case Management:
Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the case lifecycle. Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates and obtain case-related information. Request and review medical records, bills, police reports, and other supporting documentation. Organize and maintain case files in compliance with firm procedures and legal requirements.
Medical Treatment Tracking:
Monitor client medical treatment progress. Schedule medical evaluations, therapy appointments, or follow-ups as needed. Ensure all records and bills are collected promptly and accurately.
Insurance & Provider Communication:
Communicate with insurance adjusters, medical providers, and third parties on behalf of the client. Submit claims, demand letters, and lien reductions. Follow up on subrogation claims, hospital liens, and provider balances.
Settlement & Negotiation Support:
Prepare detailed demand packages, including liability evidence, medical records, and damages summaries. Assist attorneys with negotiation prep, mediation summaries, and settlement memos. Coordinate disbursements, settlement statements, and closing documents.
Administrative & Legal Support:
Update case management software and maintain accurate notes, deadlines, and status reports. Support attorneys in drafting correspondence, timelines, and case summaries. Ensure all cases are progressing in line with internal timelines and statute of limitation deadlines.
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in personal injury law or related legal field preferred. Strong understanding of the personal injury claims process, including medical terminology and insurance procedures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities with the ability to handle a high-volume caseload. Proficiency in legal case management software (e.g., Filevine, Clio, Needles) and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to remain compassionate, calm, and professional in challenging or emotional client interactions. Bilingual (especially Spanish or Punjabi) a plus but not required.
