Job Description

A well-established boutique law firm in Seattle is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join its growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 6+ years of civil litigation experience who is comfortable managing matters through the litigation process with guidance from experienced attorneys. The ideal candidate will have strong motion practice experience and the ability to take ownership of cases while working collaboratively with the firm's attorneys and clients. The Opportunity Manage civil litigation matters from inception through resolution with appropriate attorney supervision Meet directly with clients to understand legal issues, evaluate claims, and develop litigation strategies Conduct legal research and analyze case law, evidence, depositions, and witness testimony Draft motions, pleadings, briefs, and other litigation documents Manage all aspects of discovery, including written discovery and document review Take and defend depositions of parties, experts, and third-party witnesses Appear at hearings and advocate on behalf of clients Participate in mediations, settlement negotiations, and trials Develop case strategy and work closely with clients throughout the litigation process Take increasing responsibility for matters while working within a collaborative team environment Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school Active membership and good standing with the Washington State Bar 6+ years of civil litigation experience Strong motion practice experience is required Experience handling matters through multiple stages of litigation Deposition and courtroom experience Ability to manage multiple matters, deadlines, and competing priorities Comfortable working independently while collaborating with experienced attorneys Compensation & Benefits $160,000-$200,000 base salary, depending on experience Generous bonus opportunity Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with employer matching Three weeks of paid vacation Why This Opportunity This is an opportunity to join a boutique litigation practice where attorneys have the opportunity to work directly with clients and take meaningful responsibility for their cases.
