Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Loss Prevention in Northborough, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while supporting a secure environment. AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a technology-focused location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify credentials and direct individuals in accordance with site-specific procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed. Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, and security-related observations.
Minimum Requirements:
CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
